Medford, Ore. — A trio of talented teenagers is on their way to London to represent the Rogue Valley in the United Kingdom’s largest New Years Day parade.
Ally Beth Ryan, Kaylee Hakes and Aspen Rambo — all cheerleaders at North Medford High School — qualified earlier this year to perform in the parade.
Junior Aspen Rambo says she spent the last few months raising money and sponsors to attend the parade and now her dream is coming true.
“I was very honored in the first place, I just love London, and I knew right then that I was going to go because I was going to do whatever fundraising it takes to get the money to go there,” said Rambo.
Rambo, Ryan and Hakes will join over 8,000 performers from around the world at this year’s London New Year’s Day parade.
