Old Booth Insurance building demolished

Grants Pass, Ore — Out with old and in with the new, a 70 year old building in Grants Pass was demolished this morning.

With a new office to call home, crews tore down the old Booth Insurance building.

Elaine Booth has worked at the property on the of intersection of 4th and Bridge Street for the past 16 years and says the corner needed an upgrade.

“It was always our plan from the time we bought it 16 years ago that we would build a new building and update the corner and update the community, get things moving around here,” said Elaine Booth.

The office building was originally a house when it was built back in the 1940’s.
