Seattle, Wash. — Seattle Police have arrested a person of interest in a Coos County murder thanks to a news viewer.
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office said Richard Perkins died of blunt force trauma. On Sunday, his body was found in the front yard of a home on Ross Inlet Road.
Lucas Perkins lived in the home and was named by police as a person of interest in the case.
Eugene NBC affiliate KMTR reports he was arrested by U.S. Marshals today after a news viewer spotted him in a Seattle movie theater last night and tipped off police.
