Pets displaced by Louisiana flooding headed to S. Oregon

0908-wings-of-rescue-pupGrants Pass, Ore. – 15 animals who lost their homes in last month’s historic flooding in Louisiana are heading to Southern Oregon.

The Rogue Valley Humane Society is taking in ten dogs and five cats. Wings of Rescue will be flying the pets into Hillsboro on Thursday. They will then head on to Grants Pass.

126 animals were flown into Oregon on Thursday. The others will are going to shelters throughout the Northwest.
