Phoenix, Ore. — Voters in the city of Phoenix will be asked to decide whether a 3% tax should be imposed on recreational marijuana within city limits.
The Phoenix City Council voted 4 to 1 to put the issue to voters.
Revenues from the tax would be for public safety, education, and parks.
The state tax is currently at 25%.
Phoenix has two dispensaries within the city.
