Police focus on details as they search for gun burglars

0217 gun burglary detailMedford, Ore.– Tonight as police continue to investigate two separate gun burglaries in Jackson and Siskiyou counties, they are asking you to pay special attention to certain details shown in surveillance video.

NBC5 news first reported that two suspects broke into Guns-R-Us in Medford and stole 4 guns early Thursday morning.  Then on Saturday another burglary at a store in Fort Jones, 13 handguns were taken.

Medford Police say one of the suspects is wearing unique black and white patterned gloves and shoes and hope they’re familiar to you.

Lieutenant Mike Budreau of Medford Police says “If someone potentially had a suspect in mind and happened to recognize those gloves, we would be interested.  Sometimes these cases are solved by very minor and specific details.”

Medford Police believe the two burglaries are connected.  If you have any information, contact police.
