Medford, Ore.- Fire crews responded to a series of small fires along Bear Creek Greenway early Friday morning.
The fires were reported just before 1:30 a.m. Friday. They started just south of where a fire had burned earlier in the week, near Spencer and Mayette Streets in Medford.
Medford Police Department reports at least two small grass fires burned. Crews extinguished those fires within minutes.
The fire earlier in the week burned several square yards and was likely the result of a homeless camp. No signs of a homeless camp were found in the area of the fires Friday morning, however police say it is a common location for transient camps.
The exact causes of the fires are still under investigation.
