Portland, Ore. – A Gresham man was jailed after he allegedly abused a 13-year-old on a Portland-bound plane.
The FBI said 26-year-old Chad Cameron Camp was detained Wednesday night as he arrived at the Port of Portland Airport on a flight from Dallas/Ft. Worth.
Agents said Camp was seated on the plane next to a 13-year-old who was flying unaccompanied. Shortly after the plane took off, a witness said she saw Camp touching the child inappropriately.
The flight crew moved Camp away from the child and the airline requested law enforcement to intervene upon landing.
Camp was scheduled to appear at the U.S. District Court in Portland Thursday afternoon.
