Rogue River, Ore. – A man is behind bars after police say he attempted to enter a bathroom stall with a woman inside and fought with officers when he was confronted.
According to Rogue River Police, a man entered the woman’s restroom at Fleming Park around 8:30 Wednesday morning. He then tried to enter a stall occupied by a woman. After the man was confronted by the woman’s husband, the suspect tried to punch the husband but struck the woman instead.
Police said when they found the suspect on Depot Street, he violently fought with two officers. He was pepper sprayed and about to be tased when a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived at the scene to assist.
Officers said the man was arrested and charged with assault, attempted assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He refused to provide his name to police and remains behind bars, still unidentified.
