Police response puts Medford neighborhood on alert

MEDFORD, Ore. – Two Medford schools received the “all clear” after being placed on a precautionary lockout Wednesday afternoon.

Hedrick Middle School and Roosevelt Elementary School were the ones affected after a reported shooting nearby.

Nearly a dozen police cars responded to Keene Way Drive.

But after an investigation, police said no shots were fired. It was actually a BB gun that discharged inside a home.

Police say they’re still trying to work through a disturbance at the house
