Update (06/24 3:00 p.m) — Police apprehended Richard Clark around 1:00 Friday afternoon. He is currently behind bars at the Multnomah County Jail.
Sisters, Ore. – Police are searching for an escaped inmate after he walked away from a work crew near Sisters.
According to the Oregon Department of Corrections, Deer Ridge Correctional Institution staff discovered 29-year-old Richard Clark was missing at around 1:45 p.m Thursday.
Clark is described by corrections officials as a 6-foot tall man, weighing 205 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is likely wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt with the word “inmate” stenciled on them.
The Oregon DOC said Clark was serving time for two counts of attempted robbery in the second degree.
