Police search for missing Lincoln City woman

Lincoln County, Ore. — Police are searching for a woman who was reported missing Tuesday evening in Lincoln County.

According to Oregon State Police, 60-year-old Lincoln City resident Lynette Kay Propst was last contacted by text message on February 19. She was reported missing to local law enforcement on February 21.

OSP said deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office found Propst’s unoccupied Nissan Pathfinder parked in Rocky Creek State Park with a note in the window indicating the vehicle had broken down and she would return soon.

Deputies, first responders and the U.S. Coast Guard are currently searching the area for Propst. She is described by police as 5’5″ tall, 113 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.
