Alan DeBoer’s campaign confident despite one-point margin

deboer-pictureMedford, Ore. — The race between to State Senate in the Third District between Tonia Moro and Alan DeBoer is a close one. DeBoer has maintained a one-point lead over Moro since the results were released at 8 PM Tuesday night.

“We’ll hope for a victory,” DeBoer said. “If not, we’ll all pull together as a state and help support those that do get elected.”

NBC5 News spoke with DeBoer at the Republican Watch Party at the Rogue Valley Country Club earlier in the evening. Since 8 PM on Tuesday evening, DeBoer has been leading Moro, 50 percent to 49 percent.

DeBoer served as Ashland’s Mayor in 2004, and has also served on Ashland’s School Board.
