Pony Fire continues to burn in Northern California

Klamath National Forest, Calif — A lightning-sparked fire in Northern California is continuing to grow.

The Pony Fire is now nearly 2,100 acres, burning about 15 miles southwest of Happy Camp.

The fire is burning dry brush and timber on the edge of the Klamath National Forest. Firefighters say the blaze is now 20% contained.

A public information meeting at the Happy Camp Grange is scheduled for Monday night at 6:00.
