Eagle Point, Ore., — A popular Rogue Valley vineyard is up for sale.
Agate Ridge Winery in Eagle Point has been family owned and operated for the last 15 years.
The owner, Kim Kinderman and her father started the business, now it’s become a family affair.
But Kinderman’s father died three years ago, and while she says the last three years have been some of the vineyards best, it’s gotten to be too hard without him.
They say it’s with regret they are selling it.
“Probably driving my tractor. It’s my favorite place to be, is in the vineyard, it’s where I started. Mostly I was in the vineyard, I did all the planting and managed the vineyard myself.”
The vineyard is listed for just under five million dollars.
Kinderman says she hopes whoever buys it will continue on the family brand.
