Portland, Ore. (KGW) — Police in Portland, Oregon are investigating the death of a newborn baby.
The infant’s body was found in the home of David Hernandez.
He says it all started when he let someone he knew, a homeless, pregnant woman in her early 20’s stay the night in his spare bedroom.
He said it’s because she needed help. “I don’t have much to offer her. I still try,” he said.
According to Hernandez, after inviting her in, she spent 30-45 minutes in the restroom. He would later find the room covered in blood. “It looked like a murder scene in the bathroom,” said Hernandez.
