Grants Pass, Ore. — As NBC5 News first told you a few months ago, that In-N-Out had purchased a property on the north side of Grants Pass, near I-5.

The chain wants to build on Morgan Lane between 6th and 7th Streets near 1-5.

Now, Grants Pass Parks and Community Development Director Lora Glover says the burger chain has filed a pre-application form with the city.

The city is awaiting comments from the Oregon Department of Transportation regarding a traffic analysis, but Glover says the city itself has no issues with the proposal.

If approved, construction could start as soon as this summer.

Medford’s In-N-Out location, Oregon’s first, opened last September.
