Quiznos closing its doors

Central Point, Ore., — The owners of a Quiznos sandwich shop franchise in Central Point is closing its doors in five days.

A letter from the owners is posted on the door and on their Facebook page notifying the public.

They say due to repair costs, the minimum wage raises, two college tuitions and a new family member on the way – it wasn’t feasibly possible to continue operating.

One employee says they only found out yesterday.

“Everybody is kind of just up in the air about it right now since we just found out. And I’m sure if they were smart they would go apply and I’ve been telling them to do that because we’re done next week.” said Chase Louis.

Louis says he already has another job lined up but some others might not be as lucky.

The store will officially close on Sunday the 15th.
