CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – Investigators are trying to track down the person or people responsible for shooting a red-tailed hawk in Jackson County.
Oregon State Police said on January 16, a trooper found the hawk acting strangely in Central Point. Further investigation revealed it had been shot.
The hawk was taken to a local wildlife rehabilitation facility, where it later died.
