Klamath Falls, Ore. – A man is listed in critical condition after crashing a car into a Klamath Falls motel early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at about five in the morning at the Holiday Inn Express on South Sixth Street.
“Appears to be at a high rate of speed at this point, lost control and struck the building here.” Explains Sergeant Dennis Davenport of the Klamath Falls Police Department. “And he’s been transported to Sky Lakes.”
23 year old Peyton Clifton was stabilized at Sky Lakes Medical Center, then flown to St. Charles Hospital in Bend.
Clifton was the only person in the car, there were no other injuries.
Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
