Ore. — Intel’s job cuts are affecting nearly 800 people in Oregon.
The tech company is laying off 784 people at facilities in Aloha and Hillsboro, according to a letter sent yesterday. The notice says the affected employees’ last day will be May 31st.
Each worker will be offered six weeks of pay and three months of health care premiums. The company announced last week it was laying off about 12,000 people.
