Klamath County Chamber awards gala

Klamath Falls, Ore. – The Klamath County Chamber of Commerce held their annual banquet Saturday evening.

The annual Awards Gala was held at the Ross Ragland Theater.

“We’re really excited to be doing this for the 95th time.”  Noted Chamber Director Charles Massie.  “That’s pretty amazing.  We’ve been in business as a representative organization for over 115 years.”

Ambassador of the year award went to Victoria Haley.

Monte Johnson Insurance was honored as best small business to work for, which the Running ‘Y’ was chosen as the best big place to work.

The Spirit of Entrepreneurism award went to Darren and Jennifer Roe of Crater Lake Zipline, and Roe Outfitters.

The ‘Big Idea’ innovation award was presented to Gaucho Collective.

Oregon Tech was presented with an award for environmental leadership.

The ‘Pathfinder’ award was given to Kathryn Rutledge of the Klamath Community College small business center.

Millard Dental was honored with a commitment to community award.

A lifetime achievement award went to Dan and Susan Beach.
