Klamath Falls, Ore. – A Lake County man has entered a plea of ‘guilty’ to charges that he hit and killed a Lakeview teacher.
Mitchell Keith Stephens pleaded to charges of second-degree manslaughter and drunk driving Monday afternoon in Klamath County Court.
Charges against Stephens stem from the August 2016 death of Noni Vandenberg.
Vandenberg was riding her bike on Stock Drive just west of Lakeview when she was hit and killed.
Stephens was arrested later that afternoon by Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Sentencing is scheduled for November 17th.
