Calif. — (NBC News) Thousands attended a service Ffriday for one of the victims of the San Bernardino shooting rampage.
A private memorial was held for Damian Meins at Saint Catherines of Alexandria in Riverside.
The 58-year-old was passionate about serving his community and never strayed far from his church, according to a long time friend.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the couple responsible continues, with divers searching for evidence in a pond three miles from the Inland Regional Center where 14 people were killed.
