Klamath Falls, Ore. – ‘Victory Commons’ was dedicated Thursday afternoon, in a ceremony that included a flag-raising.
Coast Guard Veteran Linda Chevalier is one of 10 vets moving into the complex: “Actually, I think it will be pretty good – being with other people that have the same issues, same values.”
Site Supervisor Michael Madden offered a rundown of the facility…
“We have five duplexes, one bedroom units – we have a community room, and a laundry room, and a manager’s space.”
A crowd of about 80 people were on hand for the dedication.
Funding for the $2,000,000 project was secured through the Klamath Housing Authority.
