Remains of missing man recovered from the Rogue River

0218 Donald DuBose MissingCurry County, Ore. – The Curry County Sheriff’s Office says the remains of an 84-year old man who was reported missing from a Grants Pass adult care home in February have been found.

Curry County deputies say they received a report Wednesday morning of a body in the Rogue River near Agness. The body was stuck in some brush about two miles above the Foster Bar Campground in what is commonly known as the Burns Rapids.

Police say after an investigation, they were able to identify the deceased person as Donald Dubose.

Officers say that Dubose suffered from Alzheimer’s and had walked away from the adult care home he was living at.
