Rogue River, Ore. — A Rogue River High School music teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student pleaded “not guilty” in court Tuesday.
Detectives said they began investigating 24-year-old Jacob Vizcarra after the principal of Rogue River High School reported his concerns about a possible inappropriate relationship between Vizcarra and a 17-year-old female student.
Vizcarra entered a not guilty plea to two charges of sexual abuse and official misconduct. He is currently out on bail.
