The day started out with the run-walk and a parade, with the human and rooster crowing competition later in the afternoon.
We caught up with the winner of the human crowing competition. Rudd Howell says this isn’t the first time he’s been in the running.
“It’s not my first time, I entered in 2000 also, not bad for an old rooster, you know.”
The festival continues tomorrow with hydroplanes hitting the river.
The main event race is tomorrow at noon.
