Russian Orthodox church in Gold Hill holding open house

Jackson County, Ore. — You may have seen it driving by on I-5 near Gold Hill–a building under construction with onion domes.

This is the new Saint Innocent Orthodox Church and you can visit the building during an open house this weekend.

Visitors will be able to tour the new building ask questions and try some Russian food. The open house runs on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The church is located at 4922 North River Road in Gold Hill.

The St. Innocent Orthodox Church choir will be performing both days.
