RV catches fire in Central Point

Central Point, Ore. — People inside a motorhome got out just in time Monday afternoon, before the vehicle burst into flames near Central Point.

Around 2:00 p.m., Jackson County Fire District 3 and the Oregon Department of Forestry were called out to Scenic and Seven Oaks Road.

It was reported that a vehicle was on fire on the side of the road. When crews arrived, they found this motorhome completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters said no one was injured in the fire. The motorhome is considered a complete loss.

According to JCFD 3, it’s not clear what caused the fire to start. A fire investigator has been called to the scene.
