RVTD testing new “E-Fare” system

Jackson County, Ore. — You may be riding the bus in Jackson County a little differently soon.

The Rogue Valley Transportation District is trying a new system where people pay for fares electronically using a phone or reusable card.

RVTD is looking for participants in the trial. If you ride the bus at least five times a week and would like to participate.

Applications are due by Wednesday, July 20th. Participants will receive a credit toward future fares as compensation.

1. Are you eligible for Reduced Fare or Full Fare? (Do you receive discounts on RVTD Bus Fare?):

2. What type of fare do you typically purchase? (Monthly Bus Pass, 20 Ride Punch Cards, Pay at the fare box etc…)

3. Where do you currently purchase your fare? (At the fare box, Front Street Station, etc…)

4. How often and during what times of day do you typically ride?
