S. Oregon, N. California flood watches extended

Medford, Ore. – The National Weather Service office in Medford, Oregon said a flood watch is still in effect on Thursday in many southwestern Oregon and northwestern California locations.

NWS officials said most of the rainfall is behind us, but there is still a chance for flooding, particularly in northern California.

A flood watch is in effect for the west side valleys–including most of Jackson County–until noon. Portions of Siskiyou County are on a flood watch until 4:00 p.m. and much of Modoc County until 10:00 p.m.

A flood warning for small streams will expired at 10:15 a.m. Thursday morning for Central Jackson County.
