Scarecrow Festival kicks off at Hanley Farms

SCARECROWMedford, Ore. – Rows and rows of scarecrows stood in the fields of Hanley Farm this weekend. It was part of the annual Scarecrow Festival, hosted by the Southern Oregon Historical Society.   From Star Wars to some of our founding fathers, there was a scarecrow for almost any theme. There was also a station set up to create your own.

“It’s so much fun to have families come out and have an activity they can all do together and enjoy together. And we’ve had gorgeous days for it, gorgeous weekend. The whole weekend’s been great, ” said Alice Mullaly.

If you missed this weekend’s event, the Historical Society will be hosting a haunted field next Sunday at 7 o’clock also at Hanley Farms.
