Crescent, Ore. — A semi smashed into a sporting goods store in northern Klamath County Monday evening.

Ken’s Sporting Goods owner Dennis Mathers says the truck lost control on snow and ice.

The truck went about 15 feet into the building. There were no injuries.

The truck cab was left in place until contractors could shore up the building and assess the damage.

Mathers believes damage to the store and contents could top $250,000.

The veteran-owned business is well known in the community for their sale of sporting goods, guns, and liquor.
