Orlando, Fla. (WESH) — A 13-year-old Orlando, Florida boy accidentally shot over the weekend has died.
Investigators said the boy was playing video games when an 18-year-old boy found an unsecured gun. The 18-year-old told deputies it went off when he fell off a hoverboard.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office will investigate to see if charges should be filed.
“We want people to be responsible with guns, how they lock them up, because this is a terrible and tragic example of kids playing with guns,” Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jane Watrel said.
