Man arrested after shooting in West Medford

ASHOOTING SUSPECT(UPDATE 10/14-15 11:15 AM) Medford Police say they have arrested 20 year old Juan Antonio Gonzalez-Marquez in connection with the shooting that happened on the 1300 block of Prune street Tuesday night.

Gonzalez-Marquez is facing several charges, including attempted murder and assault in the first degree. He has been booked in the Jackson County Jail, and his bail has been set at over $2 million.

(UPDATE 11:41pm) MPD say the victim is in critical condition at Rogue Regional Medical Center. Many witnessed told NBC 5 the victim is Adrian Carrillo who goes by the gang name “Bravo.”


(UPDATE 9:27pm 10/13) Medford, Ore. –Medford Police Public Information Officer Mike Budreau says that they believe this shooting is gang related.

A bystander nearby had a medical kit quickly available and was able to quickly help the victim.


Shooting in west Medford. One person is on their way to the hospital with multiple gun shot wounds.
