Sonoma County wildfire prompts evacuations

SONOMA COUNTY, Calif, (KCRA) – A fire in Sonoma County, California exploded in size overnight.

Strong winds are fueling the Kincade Fire. It grew from 1,000 acres to more than 10,000 acres in a matter of hours.

Evacuation orders have been issued for several parts of the county.

The fire is zero percent contained as of Thursday morning.
