Ashland, Ore., — Today is a big day for Southern Oregon University seniors and their families.
About 1,000 students walked across that stage and received their diplomas at the school’s 90th graduation ceremony.
After years of hard work, both students and families are proud to see it pay off.
“It’s a dream come true. My fulfillment to become a teacher at RCC just came true.” said graduate Brian Fitzgerald.
“Very proud of my sister with her masters. She was the top of her class. Very emotional…” said Deborah Wreath.
The ceremony featured multiple speakers including Dr. Harry Kloor.
Kloor is the first and only person to have earned two Ph.D degrees simultaneously.
