Medford, Ore. — Hundreds of people spent all weekend dancing and enjoying the Southern Oregon Swing Convention.
The three-day event was held at the Inn at the Commons in Medford. Dancing began Friday and went on non-stop through the end of the event Sunday.
Event organizers said not only is it a fun time – it’s good for your health. “We’ve had workshops all weekend, and contests, and shows, and lots of social dancing,” said organizer Dave Kahn.
West Coast Swing involves dancing to all different genres, including contemporary, jazz, and even country.
Dancing wrapped up at 4:00 Sunday afternoon, but event coordinators are already planning for next year!
