(NBC News) — Hillary Clinton is claiming victory after Monday night’s presidential debate.
The first debate exposed competing views on creating jobs, with Clinton promising to invest in infrastructure and clean energy, while Trump pushed lower business taxes as the solution.
Clinton quickly labeled that plan “Trumped-up trickle down” economics.
She also challenged Trump to release his tax returns, saying “There’s something he’s hiding.”
Trump, meanwhile, was unapologetic, defending his business practices by saying “I take advantage of the laws of the nation.”
