Stabbing Suspect in Court

Medford, Ore — Facing charges of attempted murder, the man accused of stabbing another man in the back makes his first appearance in court Thursday.

Ector Sanchez-Navarro was arraigned on counts of attempted murder, assault and unlawful use of a weapon following a Tuesday stabbing that sent one man to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

He’s now in stable condition

Navarro was identified by friends of the victim and turned himself in to police on wednesday.

He’s being held without bail.
