Central Point, Ore.– Central Point School District 6 said when they found out about the allegations against Jeffery Zundel Monday they put him on administrative leave.
Zundel is married to Michelle Zundel the Chief Academic Officer for the Medford School District and former Ashland High School Principal.
Jack Russel, a student in Zundel’s World Studies class said he doesn’t believe the allegations, “He talks to us with great respect. He teaches us everything we need to know. And he never says anything sexual or anything.”
But other students said they are bothered by the news. Hailey Hughes said it maker her feel” ‘Violated, unsafe to go to school..that’s crazy.”
Zundel also teaches English and Photo Journalism at Crater High. He’s been a teacher since 1986 and graduated with a Masters degree from Oxford University.
