Huron, California – Police near Fresno, California say a suspected burglar has died after getting stuck in the chimney of a home he was trying to get into. Homeowners in the rural town of Huron heard the man after lighting a fire in the fireplace Saturday afternoon and alerted authorities. Firefighters used jackhammers to break open the brick chimney, but when they got to the man he was dead. Investigators will conduct an autopsy Sunday to determine the man’s identity and the cause of his death.
