Teen who posted to Facebook during standoff pleads ‘not guilty’

HOWE PICMedford, Ore. —  A teen who posted a picture to Facebook during a standoff with police, daring them to come inside, was back in court on Friday. Jesse Howe,18, pleaded not guilty to charges of first and second degree robbery.

Medford police say Howe and Nicholas Edwards, 19, robbed someone of three pounds of marijuana at a vacant home on Grand avenue. Authorities say that caused a two and a half hour long standoff with police.

During that time, police say the teens posted pictures smoking pot on social media. They were later arrested by police.
