Medford, Ore. –  Thousands of people of all ages came out for the Rogue Valley Railroad Show this weekend.  This is the 38th year for the show featuring 12 fully operating railroads from local and international miniature railroad enthusiasts, as well as live steam locomotives and historical artifacts. The show takes a full year to put together but organizers say every minute of work is worth it.

“Trying to get different clubs to get their displays here and the vendors and so on but you see the attendance and the people coming out here, especially the kids, it’s worth it, ” said Tony Johnson.

Shirley Estes added, “I really like the one that gave out candy.”

Proceeds from the show will go to operating the Medford Railroad Park which is set to open in April.  Organizers say they saw nearly 5,000 people attend the show this weekend.
