Power restored for thousands in the Roseburg area

Update (07/19/19 3:58 p.m.) – All power has been restored by 3:48 p.m., Pacific Power said. Customers whose power is still out are advised to reset breakers.

Original story: ROSEBURG, Ore. – A widespread power outage in is affecting thousands of people in and around Roseburg.

Pacific Power estimates a little over 20,000 Douglas County customers were without power at about 1:38 a.m. Friday.

While the cause of the outage remains under investigation, crews will continue working to restore power. Estimated time of restoration is 4:30 p.m.
