Portland restaurants say to-go cocktails don’t offset impact of pandemic

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) – Oregon restaurants and bars have been able to sell to-go cocktails for more than two months now after Governor Kate Brown issued an executive order as a lifeline to businesses. But is it enough to keep some eateries afloat as the coronavirus pandemic wears on? “Anything we can do to just get a little bit more traffic coming through the door, or add on to the existing orders we have is super helpful,” said Gordon Feighner, the owner of Jam on Hawthorne.
