Tornado touchdown confirmed on the Oregon Coast

MANZANITA, Ore. (KATU) – An EF-0 tornado touched down in the coastal town of Manzanita, Oregon on Tuesday morning.

The tornado reportedly touched down along a quarter-mile stretch, causing minor damage at two properties on Kahnie Trail Loop.

Tillamook County emergency services went out to Manzanita to investigate the reports.

After they made an assessment, the National Weather Service confirmed that it was a tornado.

No injuries were reported, but it did clip two properties.
