Medford, Ore. — Tree removal crews have had their hands full removing broken limbs and trees that have toppled over.

Monday, crews from Advanced Tree Service and Landscaping worked to remove a 75-foot Deadora Cedar from a front yard on Brookdale Street in Medford. The whole tree had to be taken out because of cracked branches from heavy snow. Managing Member Will Danielson said the phone’s haven’t stopped ringing since Thursday.

“It’s been crazy absolutely crazy,” Danielson said. “For the last four days we’ve been hammered so it’s been phone call after phone call.”

Danielson said he has both his crews working and they’ve brought in temporary help as well.

Josephine County Public Works said they responded to about a dozen calls for tree removal, but crews spent the bulk of their time working to plow snow.
