Georgetown, Colo. – A stretch of a Colorado highway was closed after a semi-truck carrying a load of ice cream caught fire.
Colorado State Public Affairs reported the fire on eastbound Interstate 70 near Georgetown at around 4:00 Thursday evening. Both lanes re-opened roughly an hour later.
CSP said the fire was likely caused by overheated brakes. There were no injuries.
